Antroji „Far Cry“ dalis bus mažiausiai panaši į įprastas pirmojo asmens šaudykles. Tiesa, galbūt sakyti, jog kūrėjai visiškai nesikiš į istoriją ir nederėtų, bet daugybę žaidimo istorijos momentų lemsite jūs pats.  
„Far Cry 2“ istorijos dizaineris Patrick Redding teigia, jog didžioji dalis „gameplėjaus“ suksis apie veikėjo keliones į miestelius ar aplinkos vietoves ir dalyvavimą dviejų frakcijų konflikte. Beveik 50 kvadratinių kilometrų dydžio sukurtame pasaulyje, jūs turėsite tyrinėti jį, vykdyti abiejų frakcijų misijas, žudyti įvairius NPC veikėjus ir svarbiausia – savo veiksmais įtakoti žaidimo pasaulį, bei paveikti reputacijos reitingą.

Na, o pagrindinė „Ubisoft“ užduotis žaidime, kuriame beveik neįmanoma nuspėti kaip elgsis paprastas žaidėjas, yra išlaikyti jo tęstinumą. Pirmiausia kūrėjų užduotis yra pagauti žaidėjo dėmesį ir įtraukti jį į paslaptingą istoriją, kurią kurtų pats žaidėjas, tačiau jį vistiek nematomai lydėtų kūrėjų sukurti rėmai. Būtent šie rėmai ir yar sunkiausias dalykas, kadangi jie privalo žaidime atrodyti taip, kad išvydę kokį nors įvykį jūs nesuprastumėte, kad jis įvyktų bet kuriuo atveju. „Ubisoft“ šioje vietoje turi kiek kitokią išeitį: daugybę skirtingų įvykių žaidime, kurie būtų pristatomi žaidėjui atsitiktinumo principu. Jų turėtų būti pakankamai, kad vieną kartą baigę žaidimą, dar tikrai nebūtumę patyrę jų visų.
Pažvelgę į istoriją ir jos vaidmenį būsimąjame žaidime, kas buvo itin akcentuojama ir demonstruojama GDC metu, galime šiek tiek priminti ir jau anksčiau žinomus faktus. Kaip jau turbūt supratote (ar pamatėte iš nuotraukų) šįkart „Far Cry“ veiksmas persikelia iš egzotiškos ir augmeningos salos, į skurdžią Afrikos savanų teritoriją, dykumą, nykius pasienio miestelius ir netgi galėsime šiek tiek prisiminti džiungles. Daug gerų žodžių galima pasakyti ir apie žaidimo aplinkas, kurios žada užburti savo vaizdus visus egzotikos megejus, o svarbiausia visos jos bus kuo puikiausiai sunaikinamos, netgi galėsite padegti žolę, kuriai išdegus jau nebebus nieko.

Siužetas: Filmas – pasakojimas apie katastrofą – paremtas šiuolaikiniu ekspertu prielaidomis bei pačia naujausia kompiuterine grafika, siulo mums tapti galimu apokalipsės variantų liudininkais. Tai ir nuo musu nepriklausantys gamtos kataklizmai – neįtiketinai galingas cunamis ar milžiniškas meteoritas, ir katastrofos, įvykusios del žmogaus veiklos – nepavykęs mokslinis eksperimentas ar naujausio cheminio ginklo bandymai.

Dynamic Photo HDR is based on a still relatively new technology but it's an important one and one that's getting more and more focus from developers. 

According to the developer, this is an ideal tool for those who have taken a photos but the image that they get is not the one that they imagined. The software can adjust photos so that any imperfections, distortions and focus problems are smoothed out as easily possible. It features very powerful Auto-Aligning, Manual and Auto-Assist Aligning of images with something called "Pin Warping" that can correct all various types of misalignment, including camera roll, pitch or yaw. Ever had a ghost type object appear on your photos? Dynamic Photo HDR can completely eliminate ghosting of moving objects. In addition, it features a series of tone mapping procedures that can create a whole range of images - from smooth photographic tone mapping to very dramatic images.
